Role:  Part-Time Team Members (formerly referred to as Play Coordinators)

We are looking for Part-time Team Members to join our team. Imagination Street is a new children’s indoor play space coming to The District At Prairie Trail in March 2023.  This new and inviting play space is all about creativity and imagination.  We will specialize in play time, private events and special events hosted by Imagination Street.

What we are looking for…

We are looking for friendly, creative, and outgoing individuals that truly enjoy being around children, have the ability to engage with children and encourage them to find ways to use their creativity and imagination skills, and have a passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests with top notch customer service.


We fully anticipate Imagination Street will be a busy, energetic environment so being able to multi-task will be very important.  Being prepared to jump in to help wherever needed with a positive attitude is a must!  Additionally, this job will require standing for long periods of time assisting guests with the check in process, attending to the play area picking up toys, and keeping our spaces nice and tidy. 

Shortly after we open, we will be launching special events hosted by Imagination Street as well as our private event packages so we fully anticipate our weekend schedule will fill up rather quickly.  Having a flexible schedule, being able to work weekdays and/or weekends is a must.  Please do not apply for this position if you cannot fulfill this requirement.  For the right candidates we will consider limited work schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

The work below is representative of the general scope of work that may be performed within this job classification. Individual job duties will vary based on work assignment.

  • Assist with opening and closing facility as requested

  • Prepare facility for arriving guests

  • Greet and check-in guests

  • As part of our check-in process inform guests on available memberships/promotions and upcoming classes

  • Handle cash and card transactions for admission fees, food and beverage and retail purchases

  • Provide general supervision and assisting children with playing in play area. (Parents are required to supervise their children, this is not a childcare type facility.)

  • Enforcing program rules and safety regulations, following proper emergency procedures

  • Assisting with planning and/or overseeing classes, parties/private events, and special events as instructed

  • Properly fill out injury paperwork, if necessary

  • Clean/pickup in play area and bathrooms as needed during open times and at end of shift

  • Restock supplies and retail area

  • Answer questions and assist guests during open times

  • Handle end of day card and cash closing process


Job Requirements:

  • Available to work various shifts, including weekends

  • Must be FUN, creative, upbeat and great with children

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality

  • Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-20 pounds during scheduled shift

  • Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift.

  • With lots of little children, things get messy quickly! Keeping the play area clean is very important to us to ensure our guests have the best experience playing.   Having strong organization skills with the ability to quickly clean up when its busy is important.

  • Cleaning is also an important task with this job. Sanitizing toys and equipment, regularly cleaning and checking in on the bathrooms, keeping all counters, tables, windows clean.

  • Needs to be reliable, punctual, neat and tidy appearance, follows dress code and comes to work ready to have some fun!

  • Successful results of a criminal background check. No felonies or convictions.

  • Ability to provide acceptable documentation of U.S. Citizenship or lawful authorization to work in the United States.



  • Experience working with children preferred*

  • Customer service experience a must*

Job Type:           Part-time


Pay:                      Starting at $13.50 per hour



  • Working hours will typically be between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm M-F and Saturdays between 8:30am and 7pm and Sundays between 9:30am – 6pm.  Part time hours will typically range from 8-24 hours a week. 

  • Weekend availability (Weekend shifts will vary; however, we do ask that our team members have the ability to work at least 1-2 shifts per weekend.)

  • Shift hours will typically range from 3-6 hours.
